Don’t mess with the moon!

Once again the market has rallied into a new moon and then stopped. That’s four months in a row where the rallies stopped close to the new moon, and three where the rallies stopped exactly on the new moon. And then there were the three consective months from September through November where declines stopped right on the full moon. We know this pattern will not continue ad infinitum, as there are many forces that push and pull at markets. But I asserted 18 years ago when I wrote The Spiral Calendar that the moon was one of those forces, and the evidence keeps growing to that effect.
